Vice Chancellor expresses condolence over the death of Syed Mohammad Minhaj Hossain, Chairman of the Department of CSE, Premier University.

Syed Mohammad Minhaj Hossain, Chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Premier University, has passed away (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un). He breathed his last at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, 19 October 2025, at Chattogram Medical College Hospital. At the time of his death, he was approximately 40 years old.

Honorable Vice Chancellor of Premier University, Professor S. M. Nasrul Quadir, has expressed his deep sorrow at his sudden demise. Dean of the Faculty of Arts Professor Dr. Mohit Ul Alam, Adjunct Dean of the Faculty of Law Professor Md. Morshed Mahmud Khan, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies Professor M. Moinul Haque, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Professor Dr. Shaheed Md. Asif Iqbal, Registrar and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Science Mr. Mohammad Iftekhar Monir, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law Ms. Tanzina Alam Chowdhury, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Arts Ms. Farzana Yasmin Chowdhury, along with the Chairmen, Coordinators, all teachers, and officials and staff members of the university have also expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Syed Mohammad Minhaj Hossain.
